Description: Elvish Turkish honey is also known as Peri Bali or Fairy honey. The production course in a unique natural environment, with specific temperatures and moistness, along with the endemic and medicinal flora neighboring the caves. Those factors contribute to the honey's rich nutritional profile, which is high in antioxidants, proline, polyphenols, flavonoids, potassium, and magnesium.
Beneficial content of Elvish honey
This very sporadic honey is also noted for its potential character in enhancing physical durability and energy levels. Some users have reported improved sexual activity and virility. This is partly attributed to its beneficial content of chrysin. Chrysin is a compound that prevents the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, and its ability to pointedly boost nitric oxide levels in the bloodstream, which is related to enhanced erectile function.
Furthermore, it has been studied that elvish honey contains touches of grayanotoxane, a mild, naturally occurring compound that can have psychoactive effects if consumed in excess, making it potentially a little perilous in large quantities.
No other honey has such purity
Elvish honey is multiflora and golden in color. Its production is nominal, with only around 25 kilograms harvested in the first few years ago, making it one of the rarest honeys in the world. Due to its purity, rarity and attributed possessions, its price is extremely high and available in limited quantities.
Internal acknowledgement
The Elvish Turkish honey has received international acknowledgement, winning the "World's Best Honey" award at the World Apiculture Congress (WAC) in 2009.
Its exclusiveness and value have attracted collectors, haute cuisine chefs, and those interested in natural and healing products with high nutritional and medicinal content.
Despite its high cost, its making remains an laborious process that requires the assistance of specialized speleologists and climbers to access the depths of the caves.
